Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
We collect account information (name, email, password), broker connection data via SnapTrade and Tradovate (trades, balances, positions, orders — read-only), trade journal entries, wellness and psychological state logs, and usage analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide the service, improve features, communicate with you, and detect abuse. We do NOT sell your data.
3. Third-Party Services
Supabase (hosting), SnapTrade (SOC 2 Type 2 broker aggregation), Stripe (payments), Google (OAuth authentication), Mixpanel (anonymized product analytics — usage events only, no financial data; IP addresses anonymized), Vercel (application hosting and content delivery), and Sentry (error and performance monitoring — collects technical crash and diagnostic data to help us fix issues; no trading financial data is sent to Sentry). Each has their own privacy policy.
4. Data Security
Encryption in transit and at rest. METRIX never stores your broker passwords. SnapTrade connections are handled by SnapTrade via OAuth; Tradovate connections use read-only OAuth access tokens stored securely on our servers and never exposed to your browser — see Connections below.
5. Connections
When you connect an account (via SnapTrade or Tradovate), METRIX accesses your trading data on a read-only basis.
What we store: read-only OAuth access tokens (for Tradovate), account identifiers, and the fills, orders, positions, and balance data you authorize. What we never store: your login username or password. Access is read-only — METRIX never places, modifies, or cancels orders.
Revoking access: you can disconnect a connection at any time from the Connections page in METRIX, and/or revoke METRIX's access in your Tradovate account settings. Disconnecting removes the stored access token; trades already imported into your journal are kept unless you delete them.
6. Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and export your data at any time.
7. Your Rights

8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and analytics cookies with consent.
9. Children's Privacy
METRIX is not intended for users under 18.
10. International Users
Data may be processed in Canada and the United States.

We'll notify users of material changes.
