Terms of Service

This document is a draft and is currently under legal review. By using METRIX during our soft-launch period, you agree to these terms as a good-faith understanding.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing METRIX, you agree to be bound by these terms. You must be at least 18 years old to use METRIX.

2. Description of Service

METRIX is a trading journal and psychological state tracking tool. It does not execute trades, provide financial advice, or guarantee trading outcomes.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Billing, Subscriptions & Refunds

METRIX offers a free plan (free for your first 30 days) and paid plans: Pro, billed monthly or annually, and Founders, a one-time lifetime purchase. When your 30-day free period ends, you'll need to choose a paid plan to keep using METRIX — we never charge you automatically. Current prices are displayed at checkout. All payments are processed securely by Stripe; METRIX never sees or stores your full card details.

Auto-renewal. Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) using your saved payment method, until you cancel. The Founders plan is a single one-time payment and does not renew.

Cancellation. You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time. You'll keep access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. We do not prorate or refund partial billing periods except as described below.

7-Day Refund Guarantee (Pro plans). Pro monthly and annual subscriptions include a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase date by emailing Metrix.journal@gmail.com or messaging us on Discord. Founders lifetime purchases are final and non-refundable. Any refund request outside these terms is at our discretion.

Price changes. We may adjust our prices from time to time. Any change applies to future billing periods, and we'll give existing subscribers notice before a price change affects their renewal.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse-engineer the platform, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Third-Party Integrations

METRIX integrates with third-party services including Supabase (data hosting), SnapTrade and Tradovate (read-only broker connections), Stripe (payment processing), and Google (authentication). Broker integrations are read-only — METRIX never places, modifies, or cancels orders on your behalf. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms.

METRIX is an official NinjaTrader partner. This is a partnership/affiliate relationship — NinjaTrader does not connect to or access your METRIX trading data.

Some links on our site are partner or affiliate links, and METRIX may earn a commission if you sign up through them. This never changes the price you pay.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of METRIX are the exclusive property of METRIX and its licensors.

8. Limitation of Liability

METRIX is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. In no event shall METRIX be liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Risk Disclosure

Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program despite trading losses are material points that can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program that cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
